Ladies and gentlemen... only 10 more days until Diana Carmona turns 17!!! But, besides one of my best friend's birthday, that is also the day I leave. As the countdown reaches single digits, I have been preparing (as much as I can) for my trip - my checklist keeps growing! Not only have I been buying warm clothes and supplies, but I have also been making my way through the book of Deuteronomy. I have to admit, it's been a while since I've sat down and read through a book in the Bible. It is LONG but it has been refreshing to read how God worked through His people's lives - and it's pretty cool to see Lebanon mentioned every once in a while!
There are five countries being represented by the participants of FirstServe: England, Northern Ireland, Canada, Germany, and, obviously, the US. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we make our final preparations to arrive at Tilsley College on 10th and 11th September. The excitement is growing... Stay tuned for more soon!
